The company specialises in responsive repairs, planned maintenance, energy-efficiency improvements and building compliance works. With a growing portfolio and a strong focus on quality, customer service and efficient delivery, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation offering long-term career development.

The Role

As Contracts Planner, you will coordinate and schedule planned and reactive maintenance works, ensuring operatives and contractors are deployed efficiently and jobs are completed safely, on time and in line with contractual requirements.

You will work closely with contract managers, surveyors, engineers, clients and site teams to maintain service standards and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

*

Monitor job progress against deadlines, KPIs and service-level agreements.

*

Liaise with clients, property managers, contractors and site representatives.

*

Manage urgent and emergency maintenance requests.

*

Maintain accurate job records, schedules and contractor information.

*

Track performance data and support contract reporting.

*

Identify delays, resolve scheduling issues and escalate concerns where necessary.

*

Ensure works are coordinated around site restrictions and building operations.

*

Support continuous improvements in service delivery and operational efficiency.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

*

Experience in planning, scheduling or coordination, ideally within construction, facilities management or property maintenance.

*

An understanding of planned and reactive maintenance.

*

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

*

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and scheduling or job-management systems.

*

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

*

An understanding of health and safety and statutory compliance requirements.

Experience with CAFM systems, KPI reporting and commercial or non-domestic property maintenance would be advantageous.

What's on Offer?

*

Salary up to £34,000, depending on experience.

*

25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.

*

Development and progression opportunities.

*

Life assurance and occupational sick pay.

*

Salary-sacrifice schemes, including holiday purchase, electric vehicle schemes and additional pension contributions.

*

Wellbeing resources and counselling services.

*

Retail and lifestyle discounts.

*

Enhanced family leave provisions.

*

Employee recognition initiatives.

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to complete background, identity and security checks before commencing employment.
