Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookbinder to join our team in Brentford. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for craftsmanship, precision, and an appreciation for traditional and modern bookbinding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform a range of bookbinding tasks, including folding, sewing, trimming, gluing, and casing-in

* Work with various binding styles such as case binding, perfect binding, and bespoke hand-binding

* Operate and maintain binding machinery and tools

* Inspect and ensure the highest quality of finished products

* Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and client specifications

* Handle materials carefully and maintain a clean, organised workspace

Requirements:

* Previous experience in bookbinding or a related field preferred

* Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good manual dexterity and a keen eye for quality

* Familiarity with binding machines and hand-binding techniques is a plus
