Learning Support Assistant
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work within a fantastic specialist school supporting children aged 4-11 years with a range of learning, communication and physical needs.
The role involves supporting children throughout the school day, either within a classroom setting or on a 1:1 basis, depending on their individual needs. This includes helping pupils access learning, develop their communication, confidence and independence, and engage positively in both learning and school life.
The school provides a caring and nurturing environment, with a strong focus on enabling every child, irrespective of their individual needs, to develop to their full potential.

Role Details:
Supporting children aged 4-11 years
Working with pupils with a range of learning, communication and physical needs
Providing classroom, small-group and 1:1 support
Helping children access learning and develop their confidence and independence
Working alongside teaching staff and the wider school team
Working within a caring and nurturing specialist SEND environmentRole Requirements:

Rate of Pay: From £93.60 per dayExperience and Training:
Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous but not essential
Experience within a school, SEND, care or support setting would be beneficial
Experience supporting children with learning, communication or physical needs is desirable
Supporting children with SEND and helping them develop their independence and confidence
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year is desirable, however training can be providedTo be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application
