Senior Technical Project Manager (6-Month Contract)
Contract: 6 Months
Location: West Sussex 2-3 days onsite
Day Rate: Competitive
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of business and technology projects across the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to delivery and benefits realisation.
Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party suppliers, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple concurrent technical and business projects.
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resources and timelines.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
Ensure effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.
Lead cross-functional and supplier teams to successful delivery.
Provide regular project reporting and executive updates.
Support supplier selection, tender evaluations and contract awards.
Ensure smooth service transition and operational handover.
Essential Experience
Proven track record delivering medium to large-scale technical projects.
Strong stakeholder and supplier management experience.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong project governance, planning and budget management skills.
Knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, PMI, MSP or similar methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Experience delivering across infrastructure and enterprise environments, including Networks, Servers, SQL, Windows and Linux.
Understanding of ITIL practices and service transition.
