Grounds Maintenance Operative – Doncaster
£13\.05 per hour PAYE \| Monday–Thursday
Temporary cover until the end of December, with potential to extend
LYNX Employment is recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative to help maintain outdoor spaces and public areas across Doncaster.
This is a practical, hands-on role combining grounds maintenance and general cleansing duties. You’ll work within a team to keep local neighbourhoods clean, tidy and well maintained.

A full driving licence is essential for this role.

Your duties will include:

Carrying out general grounds maintenance and seasonal outdoor tasks.

Supporting the upkeep of public spaces and neighbourhoods.

Undertaking street cleansing and tidying duties as required.

Using horticultural and cleansing equipment safely.

Reporting hazards, unsafe conditions and equipment defects.

Responding professionally to enquiries from members of the public.

Supporting colleagues across related maintenance services where required.
What we’re looking for:

A full driving licence — essential.
A reliable, hardworking approach and willingness to undertake physical work.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Awareness of health and safety and safe equipment use.
Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Confidence using basic IT and mobile systems.
Willingness to learn and undertake further training.

Previous grounds maintenance experience would be beneficial.
