Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary)
Location: Hallen, Bristol
Pay Rate: Up to £15.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary (Approx. 4 Weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1 Hour Lunch Break)
Start Date: Immediate
Adecco are currently recruiting for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of our client based in Hallen, Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger professional to join a busy accounts team and provide support during a period of increased workload. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounts Manager and receive training on the company's finance system where required.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
Compiling supplier payment runs
Carrying out bank reconciliations
Handling purchase ledger queries by telephone and email
Acting as the first point of contact for supplier enquiries
Assisting the Accounts Manager with day-to-day finance administration
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant position
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office packages
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Experience with Access Financials would be advantageous, although training will be provided
