Job Type: Full‑Time
A leading manufacturer of premium windows and doors is seeking Skilled Production Operatives to join their busy and growing production facility in Oldham. Working with aluminium, UPVC, bi‑fold, and commercial glazing systems

this is an excellent opportunity for experienced operatives looking to develop their skills within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The Role
As a Skilled Production Operative, you will play a key part in the manufacturing process—operating machinery, assembling units, and ensuring high standards are consistently met across all production areas.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team, producing quality windows and doors to meet daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate machinery such as CNC corner cleaners, 4‑headed welders, and compound saws
• Use a variety of hand and power tools (drills, knives, hammers, measuring tapes, etc.)
• Assemble, prep, cut, weld, hang, bead, and gear up aluminium and UPVC profiles
• Follow production drawings and specifications accurately
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient workstation
• Collaborate with your team to meet production targets and schedules
• Rotate between departments depending on workflow demands

What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Skilled in using hand tools, machinery, and measuring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and standing for long periods
• Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability

Desirable Qualifications
• GCSE or equivalent
• Previous experience in window or door fabrication is a strong advantage

Why Join Us?
• Competitive pay: £12.71 – £14.00 per hour (DOE)
• Day shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm
• Work with a respected and established manufacturer
• Supportive team environment
• Opportunities for training, development, and skill progression
• Clean, organised, and safety‑focused workplace
