Finance Assistant (Temporary)
📍 Wimborne | £14.93 per hour | 37.5 hours per week | Immediate Start
Are you an experienced Finance Assistant with Purchase Ledger experience? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a school in Wimborne for a temporary Finance Assistant to join their friendly finance team for an initial 2-4 week assignment.
This role has arisen due to a backlog of invoices following the implementation of a new finance system, and they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and provide immediate support.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing a high volume of purchase ledger invoices
Managing invoice approvals and declines
Updating and maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting the wider finance team with administrative finance tasks
Assisting in clearing the existing invoice backlogSkills & Experience Required:
Previous Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable experience
Experience using Intact or Sage 200 software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat's on Offer?

Immediate start available
37.5-hour working week (8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday)
One-hour lunch break
