A primary school in Bury is looking for a caring SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with multiple additional needs throughout their school day. This is a nurturing, care-focused role for someone who wants to build a trusting relationship with a child who needs consistency and kindness.
The Role
You will be the pupil's dedicated 1:1 support from arrival to home time, helping them feel safe, settled and able to take part in school life.
Provide 1:1 support throughout the whole school day
Build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
Support routines, communication and emotional wellbeing
Help the pupil access learning at their own pace
Follow care plans, working closely with teachers, the SENCO and families
