Maths Tutor (SEND) - Chester-le-Street

£30 per hour (PAYE)
Spencer Clarke Tutors are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maths Tutor to support a learner with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the Chester-le-Street area.

The Role

Deliver 1:1 Maths tuition to a learner with an EHCP
Plan and adapt sessions to meet the learner's individual needs and learning style
Build a positive, engaging, and supportive relationship with the learner
Deliver sessions within the learner's home environment
Monitor progress and provide session feedback where required

Requirements

Qualified Maths specialist with strong subject knowledge
Experience supporting learners with SEND
Comfortable delivering tuition within learners' homes
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Ability to differentiate lessons and adapt teaching approaches
Reliable, patient, and committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
