About this job

A client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Temporary Dispatch Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time temporary position starting Monday 16th November, likely for 2 weeks with the potential to extend. Working a 9-day fortnight with working hours of 8:45am-5:15pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-5:00pm on worked Fridays, paying up to £30,000 per annum.

Your key duties in this Dispatch Administrator role will include but are not limited to:

Coordinating customer order dispatches by sea, air and road
Liaising with freight forwarders, couriers and third parties
Preparing export dispatch documentation and applying freight charges
Responding to delivery queries and resolving issues with couriers
General administration and filing within the dispatch office
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

Previous transport or logistics experience is preferable
Knowledge of dangerous goods transportation and legislation is advantageous
Previous SAP experience would be beneficial
Strong IT, organisation and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Be available to start work Monday 16th November for 2 weeks
