Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Keystage Teacher Supply are currently looking for an experienced and committed Safeguarding Lead to join a school in the Darwen area on a full-time, long-term basis.
The RoleAs Safeguarding Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils across the school. You will work closely with staff, pupils, families, and external agencies to ensure safeguarding procedures are followed effectively and consistently.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage safeguarding procedures across the school.
Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and referrals.
Maintain accurate and confidential safeguarding records.
Work closely with staff to promote a strong safeguarding culture.
Liaise with external agencies and professionals where required.
Support staff with safeguarding advice, guidance, and training.
Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
Promote the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of all pupils.About YouWe are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in a safeguarding role within an educational setting.
Has a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and legislation.
Is confident working with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Can work independently while also being an effective team member.
