The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide support across the classroom, helping pupils engage with their learning and develop both academically and socially.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs.
* Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
* Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting an inclusive classroom environment.
* Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
* Assisting with classroom preparation and day-to-day activities.
* Supporting pupils during lessons, break times and other school activities.
* Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils and staff.

* Previous experience working within a primary school or similar setting is desirable, although applications from candidates with relevant transferable experience are welcome.
