Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity within an Early Years / EYFS setting?
We are recruiting for a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NP11 area from November 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant, Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner or Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting young children with their learning, development and confidence.
The Early Years Teaching Assistant Role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils within an Early Years / Foundation Phase classroom
Encourage learning and development through play-based activities
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Support children's communication, social skills and independence
Assist pupils with a range of learning abilities and additional needs
Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team
Support with classroom activities, resources and daily routines
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with Early Years, Nursery or Primary School aged children
Be confident supporting children's learning and development
Have a caring, patient and nurturing approach
Be enthusiastic and able to engage young learners
Work effectively as part of a school team
Have experience supporting ALN/SEN, although this is not essential
Be available for full-time work from November 2026
