We're looking for passionate educators who are looking for flexible Science Teacher opportunities in Worksop!

Academics are a specialist education recruitment agency and are recruiting a Science Teacher to work on a flexible, temporary, ongoing basis across a variety of secondary schools.

The role will provide an excellent platform for you to share your passion for Science and inspire secondary students across a variety of schools.

Position: Science Teacher

Location: Worksop

Contract: Temp, Flexible Ongoing Supply

Pay: £140 - £195 per day (Dependent on experience, training and qualifications, paid via PAYE - No umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

Start date: ASAP

Sector: Education and Training

The Role: You will deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons across KS3 & KS4, helping pupils develop their knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for the subject. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of schools in Worksop, gaining valuable experience while making a positive impact on students' education.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking for flexible, temporary, ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 & KS4
Maintain positive behaviour and effective classroom routines
Support pupils' progress, attainment and engagement
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different pupils
Follow school planning, curriculum expectations and safeguarding procedures
Create a positive learning environment that encourages students to develop their interest in ScienceThe Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ recognised teaching qualification
Previous experience teaching Science at secondary level
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A flexible and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
A genuine passion for Science and educating young peopleWhat Academics Offer
