Academics are an Education recruitment company who specialise in supply teaching and recruitment.

Academics are currently looking for a Teaching assistant to work in schools around the Telford area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education to support students across a variety of subjects, whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, Mentor, Support worker or Learning Support Assistant this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Role and Responsibilities:

Support teachers with the delivery of the lesson
Ensure all equipment is out and ready for the class
Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Help students engage with learning to achieve their goalsRequirements:

Experience within UK secondary schools.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service
