Carpenter

EA Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to join a busy commercial construction project.
The role will primarily involve carpentry snagging and finishing works, ensuring completed areas are finished to a high standard and ready for handover.
Duties
*
Completing carpentry snagging works across the project.
*
Adjusting and easing doors to ensure they open, close and latch correctly.
*
Adjusting and finishing units, cupboards and fitted joinery.
*
Rectifying minor defects and finishing issues.
*
Carrying out general second-fix carpentry and remedial works.
*
Working from snagging lists and completing tasks to a high standard.
*
Liaising with site management and other trades as required.
*
Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally on commercial construction projects.
*
Strong second-fix and finishing skills.
*
Good eye for detail and a high standard of workmanship.
*
Experience with snagging, doors, units and general remedial carpentry.
*
Valid CSCS card
*
Own tools and PPE.
*
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
