The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging, inclusive and positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their potential. Your duties may include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum
Teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your experience
Adapting and differentiating lessons to meet individual learning needs
Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
Following existing lesson plans and classroom routines when providing short-term cover
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other school staff
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Upholding school safeguarding procedures at all times
Skills and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
At least 6 months’ UK classroom teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
Confidence teaching within EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to differentiate teaching for a range of abilities and additional needs
Positive, adaptable and professional approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to provide references covering your most recent 24 months
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to have one processed

Daily rate: £140.00 – £253.00
