The Role

You’ll play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences and building a welcoming classroom environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering creative lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum
Teaching pupils in EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
Designing age-appropriate, motivating learning activities
Differentiating lessons to suit a range of abilities and needs
Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress
Setting high expectations for classroom behaviour and learning
Fostering pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Following existing plans and routines when needed
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and colleagues
Building positive relationships with pupils
Maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom
Adhering to safeguarding procedures and school policies 

Skills and Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
Minimum 6 months UK classroom teaching experience
Solid knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
Experience teaching EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to differentiate teaching for individual learner needs
Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
Clear communication and organisational skills
Enthusiastic, professional, and adaptable approach
Ability to provide references covering your most recent 24 months
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one 

Location and Package

Based in Telford and local areas
Daily rate: £140.00 – £253.00
Flexible start from October 2026
