Your role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll:
Plan and deliver creative, engaging KS1 lessons
Establish a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
Support children's academic, social and emotional development
Encourage independence and positive behaviour
Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil outcomesAbout you
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Previous experience teaching within KS1
Strong classroom management and communication skills
An enthusiastic, creative and flexible approach
High expectations for learning and behaviour
