We're looking for an experienced Site Agent to take ownership of a circa £2m Water Treatment infrastructure scheme in Cumbria.
With approximately 12 months of delivery, this is an opportunity to take control of a project from mobilisation through construction, commissioning and handover.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the scheme, including:

Overall management of site operations

Managing the Engineer, Supervisor, direct labour and specialist subcontractors
*
Driving the construction programme and short-term look-aheads
*
Coordinating civils, mechanical and associated works
*
Managing labour, plant, materials and procurement requirements
*
Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
*
Driving QA, ITPs and progressive handover
*
Monitoring productivity, cost and programme performance
*
Maintaining accurate contemporary project records
*
Identifying and recording change
*
Working closely with Commercial and Planning teams
*
Managing client, designer and stakeholder interfaces
*
Coordinating commissioning and project close-out
You'll Need
*
Proven Site Agent / Site Manager experience
*
Strong civil engineering background
*
Water / wastewater treatment experience highly advantageous
*
Experience taking ownership of projects in the £1m–£5m range
*
Strong subcontractor and programme management capability
*
SMSTS, Temporary Works Supervisor and appropriate CSCS
This will suit a Site Agent who likes owning their project rather than being one of many managers on a huge scheme.
