Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled HVAC Engineer to join a static maintenance team at a prestigious corporate site in London.

The role will involve carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, as directed by the M&E Manager. Experience working within a corporate environment is desirable, along with knowledge of CAFM systems for managing workflows and maintenance activities.

As the Mechanical Lead on site, you will take responsibility for all HVAC-related works, supported by a mobile engineering team and specialist subcontractors where required.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain all heating and cooling systems on site in accordance with current legislation and SFG20 guidelines.

* Support the contract management team by escorting contractors and ensuring all works are completed safely and compliantly.

* Carry out reactive fault investigations and first-fix repairs on mechanical equipment where possible.

* Manage HVAC scheduling and temperature adjustments through the Building Management System (BMS) to meet occupancy requirements.

* Fabric duties and general maintenance.

* Complete all maintenance tasks to a high standard, ensuring accurate completion of all associated documentation.

* Support other members of the maintenance team as required to maintain site operations and service delivery.

Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 qualification in Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation or a related mechanical discipline.

* F-Gas Category 1 certification.

* Commercial gas qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

* Right to work in the UK.

* Previous experience within a corporate or commercial building environment is desirable.

* Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance or general building services role would be beneficial.

* Reliable, punctual and professional at all times.

* Strong customer service skills with a clear understanding of delivering high standards of client service.

* Experience using CAFM systems would be advantageous.

Desirable Skills

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.

* Working knowledge of HVAC plant and associated controls.

* Familiarity with compliance-led maintenance environments.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
