Location: Cheshire Oaks
Salary: £14.84 per hour
Start Date: Monday 5th October
Contract: Initially 2 weeks with the potential for extension
Working Hours: Shifts scheduled between 9:00am and 9:15pm

We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join a luxury retail environment in Cheshire Oaks. This is a back-of-house position suited to someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. You will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, supporting store operations, and maintaining high standards within the stockroom.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving, checking, and processing deliveries.
Organising and maintaining the stockroom to luxury retail standards.
Accurately recording stock movements and inventory updates.
Conducting regular stock counts and assisting with stock audits.
Preparing stock for the shop floor and supporting replenishment activities.
Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
Ensuring all stock is stored safely and efficiently.
Working independently to manage daily stockroom operations.
Supporting the wider store team during busy trading periods when required.

Requirements

Previous stock control, stockroom, warehouse, or retail back-of-house experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage workload.
Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the shift.
Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work.
Experience using stock management systems is advantageous but not essential.This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a prestigious luxury retail environment, with the potential for the assignment to be extended beyond the initial contract period.
