Pipe Fitters Mate

My client is a mechanical subcontractor, and we are now recruiting for a Pipe Fitters / Plumbers Mate to work on a commercial project in Cambridge.
 
HOURLY RATE : £19.50 per hour - CIS
 
LOCATION : Cambridge (CB4)
 
DATE COMMENCING : Monday 5th October 2026
 
LENGTH OF CONTRACT : 2-3 months
 
HOURS OF WORK :
· 7:30 - 16:30
· Book 9 hours per day
 
JOB DESCRIPTION : Pipe Fitters Mate, Plumbers Mate
 
You will be assisting the Plumbers / Pipe Fitters on site. You must have previous 'Mate' experience. You also must have a good work ethic and work to a good standard, carry some tools, have a valid CSCS Card and PPE.

· UTR - to be paid CIS
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION : Pipe Fitters Mate, Plumbers Mate
 
· Can communicate and work well with others already on site
· Can travel to site
· Can work the required hours each week
 
Please Note : You will be paid via our payroll partner Quest Pay Solutions, and one of their Account Managers will contact you before you start work. All workers will be paid by CIS.
