Monarch Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Rubery, Birmingham, seeking an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term ongoing basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to take full responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging lessons, driving pupil progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

The Role

Full class teacher responsibilities within Upper Key Stage 2
Planning, preparation, and assessment in line with the National Curriculum
Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
Monitoring and tracking pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the school's continued success

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Commitment to raising attainment and supporting all learners to reach their potentialPlease note: The school is seeking an experienced teacher and is not currently considering Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for this position.
