Teaching Personnel are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join a lovely primary school in the LE3 area of Leicester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with kitchen, catering or school experience who is looking for flexible work in a friendly school environment. Whether you're an experienced Kitchen Assistant or looking to build your experience within education, we'd love to hear from you!
⭐ What you'll be doing:
Helping prepare and serve meals to pupils and staff
Supporting the kitchen team with daily food preparation
Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised
Washing up and carrying out general kitchen duties
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Helping create a positive lunchtime experience for the children
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous kitchen, catering or school experience – desirable but not essential
Has a Level 2 Food Safety/Hygiene qualification, or is willing to obtain one
Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
Is friendly and confident working around children
Can be flexible and adapt to the needs of the school
Is keen to get involved and become part of the school community
