About this job

A client of ours on the outskirts of Colchester are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time temporary position, initially for 3 months with the potential to become permanent. Part-time hours may also be considered. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

Your key duties in this Accounts Assistant role will include but are not limited to:

* Supporting with day-to-day accounts duties
* Processing invoices, payments and general financial transactions
* Assisting with purchase and sales ledger
* Maintaining accurate financial records and data
* Using Sage to support general accounts administration

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

* Previous experience in an accounts/finance role
* Good all-round knowledge of accounts processes
* Sage 50 experience is essential - Sage 200 experience would be advantageous
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Candidate must be able to drive, as the company location is not easily accessible by public transport
