Great with customers and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Bring your organisation, resilience and empathy to a busy office team.

We’re recruiting a Customer Service Administrator to support our client’s office team, manage customer enquiries and help keep orders and communication running smoothly.

Many customers are having their homes renovated, which can be a stressful time. You’ll need to listen carefully, show understanding and remain calm and professional when dealing with concerns, changes or frustrations.

The role
- Monitor shared sales and information inboxes, organise emails and respond promptly to enquiries.
- Handle enquiries about quotes, orders, amendments and complaints.
- Answer incoming calls, direct customers to the right person and accurately record messages and contact details.
- Provide clear, reassuring updates, working closely with processing and technical teams.
- Handle difficult conversations with patience, empathy and a practical approach to resolving issues.
- Arrange sample boxes, track their progress and follow up with customers.
- Learn about products, customer requirements and order processes, progressing to support order processing.
- Respond to changing customer requirements and maintain accurate records.

About you
- Strong communication skills and a helpful, professional telephone manner.
- Resilience and the ability to remain composed during challenging conversations.
- Empathy and an understanding of the stress customers may experience during home renovations.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence using email and everyday office systems.
- Willingness to learn about products and processes.
- Previous customer service or administration experience would be beneficial.
