Job Title: Fabricator Installer
Location: York
Pay: £16.00 - £25.00 per hour
Job Summary: Fusion People are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator Installer to join a growing and reputable company specialising in the manufacture and installation of bespoke metalwork products. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who enjoys a varied role split between workshop fabrication and on-site installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating steel, aluminium, and metalwork products to specification
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Installing fabricated products on commercial, industrial, and residential sites
- Using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Ensuring all installations are completed safely and professionally
- Liaising with site managers, clients, and colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Fabricator Installer, Metal Fabricator, Welder Fabricator, or similar role
- Ability to read and work from engineering and architectural drawings
- Experience working with steel, aluminium, and other metal products
- Competent using workshop fabrication equipment and site installation tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card desirable but not essential
