Foundry Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for a Foundry Operative based in Bedfordshire for one our clients on a Temp to Perm basis. 

Summary of the Foundry Operative role 

Salary: £14.50 per hour 
Location: Bedfordshire 
Type of contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm 

Responsibilities of the Foundry Operative  

Performing tasks within a small foundry producing bronze and aluminium castings 
Using power tools to de burr castings and removing excess materials 
Assisting in general foundry duties 
PPE will be provided

Requirements for a successful Foundry Operative

Have own transport due to location 
The work is physical and will require candidates to be able to handle reasonably heavy loads
Working in a foundry environment would be an advantage but not necessary, full training provided
