Are you an experienced FE Curriculum Manager with a background in SEND, Foundation Learning or Supported Learning?
We are currently supporting an FE college in East London to appoint an experienced Interim Curriculum Manager - Foundation Learning/SEND.
The Role
You will lead and manage Foundation Learning and SEND provision, ensuring high-quality teaching, strong learner outcomes and continuous curriculum improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and managing Foundation Learning/SEND programmes
* Line managing and developing teaching staff
* Driving recruitment, retention, achievement, attendance and progression
* Leading curriculum planning, quality assurance and improvement
* Monitoring learner progress, behaviour and safeguarding
* Managing curriculum resources, staffing and timetabling
* Working with stakeholders, parents/carers and external agencies
* Using data and KPIs to drive performance and improvement
* Supporting quality improvement planning and self-assessment
* Teaching approximately 7-12 hours per week
About You
Curriculum management experience within Further Education is essential.
You will also have:
* Experience leading SEND, Foundation Learning, Supported Learning or similar FE provision
* Experience managing and developing teaching staff
* A full teaching qualification
* Strong knowledge of inclusive curriculum delivery and learner support
* Experience supporting learners with SEND/EHCPs and complex needs
* Strong understanding of quality improvement and FE KPIs
* A proven ability to improve learner outcomes
