Overview
We are seeking an experienced Front End Java Developer to support the delivery of large-scale digital and technology services within the Public Sector.
You'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality user-facing applications using Java and React.js within a complex enterprise environment, taking ownership of development activities and contributing technical expertise across the wider delivery team.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain high-quality applications using Java and React.js.
Build robust, maintainable and user-focused front-end solutions.
Apply strong software engineering principles and development best practice.
Work collaboratively with developers, testers and wider delivery teams to deliver effective solutions.
Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve defects and contribute to code quality.
Provide technical expertise and contribute to development and design decisions across the engineering team.Essential Experience
Strong commercial development experience using Java.
Strong experience developing front-end applications using React.js.
Experience delivering applications within complex enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and development best practice.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working collaboratively within Agile, multidisciplinary technology teams.Key Skills

Rate: £280-£400 per day Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid - London, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Manchester
