Trainee HLOP Driver – Chesterfield S43

We are currently recruiting for HLOP Drivers to join a busy and established warehouse operation based in the Chesterfield S43 area.
This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to develop their warehouse and FLT skills, as full training will be provided for the right applicants.
Due to the location of the site and shift times, applicants must be able to drive and have their own reliable transport.
The Role
As an HLOP Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a High-Level Order Picker to move, pick and organise stock within the warehouse.
Your duties will include:

Operating an HLOP safely and efficiently
*
Picking stock at various heights
*
Moving and organising warehouse stock
*
Loading and unloading goods when required
*
Building and preparing pallets for dispatch
*
Following all health and safety procedures
*
Carrying out general warehouse duties
*
Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
Working at Height
The role involves operating an HLOP at heights of up to 15 metres, so you must be comfortable working at height and able to work safely in a high-level warehouse environment.
Full HLOP training will be provided, so previous HLOP experience is not essential.
Shift Pattern
4 on / 4 off
Days: 6:00am – 6:00pm
£13.13 per hour
Nights: 6:00pm – 6:00am
£14.88 per hour

We're looking for candidates who are:

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable working at heights of up to 15 metres

Comfortable with physical warehouse work
*
Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
*
Able to work independently and as part of a team
*
Keen to learn and develop new skills
*
Previous warehouse or FLT experience is desirable but not essential
