Production Operative

Contract Personnel is currently recruiting for Production Operatives for a client based in Mildenhall. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals looking to build a career within a busy manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Your duties will include

Check for defects and dents on the product and use appropriate methods of filing/sanding to achieve the best possible standard.
Informing supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues.
Assist in the production, assembly and packing of a variety of goods.
Assembling, manufacturing products using various hand tools, power tools and equipment used to complete carpentry duties including circular saw, table saw, router pneumatic nail gun and other tools cutting, fastening, and drilling.
Operating the production machinery as required, such as lifting equipment.
Following standard operating procedures and health and safety
Loading and unloading products on the work benches.
Responsible for quality checking finished products to ensure it is defect-free, correct code and colour is labelled on a product.
Read and understand part drawings/bar code labels/production paperwork.
Any other duties as requested by the client.
