The Role
As a Welsh Medium Primary Teacher, you could be working across a range of primary schools and year groups in Pontypridd and surrounding areas. Responsibilities may include:
Delivering engaging and effective lessons in Welsh
Working flexibly across a range of Primary Schools in RCT
Planning and delivering lessons in line with school expectations
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Adapting teaching approaches to meet different learning needs
Working alongside teaching assistants and other school staff
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress where required
Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
We're Looking For
Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS - essential
Fluent Welsh speaker - essential
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Adaptable and confident working across different schools and year groups
Able to commute easily to schools in Pontypridd and surrounding areas
Happy to work on a flexible and ad-hoc basis
