Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS | Terraform | Jenkins | SC Cleared

We're looking for Senior DevOps Engineers to join a public sector programme, working fully remotely on a long-term engagement.

Role Details

Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Fully Remote
Contract: 6-month rolling contract
Rate: £500 - £520 per day - Inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS + SC Clearance required
Sector: Public Sector

Key Technical Skills

Strong AWS cloud engineering experience
Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Jenkins CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
Groovy or equivalent scripting for pipeline automation
Docker container build and runtime management
NGINX
Linux and Windows administration
GitLab source-control workflows
Monitoring, logging and alerting using Elastic and Kibana
Live production support and third-line incident resolution
Environment provisioning and operational automation

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain reusable CI/CD pipelines
Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform
Automate environment provisioning and routine operational processes
Maintain Docker-based deployment and runtime patterns
Improve platform resilience, observability and security
Lead incident investigation, remediation and platform upgrades
