📚 The Role - Qualified Teaching Assistant
As a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
* Supporting pupils across the primary age range
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting pupils with their learning, development and confidence
* Managing behaviour positively and effectively
* Assisting with classroom preparation and activities
* Working closely with teachers and wider school staff
* Building positive relationships with pupils and encouraging their progress
✅ We are looking for a Qualified Teaching Assistant who has:
* A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification - essential
* UK-based primary school experience - essential
* Previous experience working within a UK primary school setting
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A patient, caring and proactive approach
* Excellent classroom support and behaviour management skills
* A professional and reliable attitude
