Proactive are urgently recruiting for a Rework Technician to join our client in Uxbridge, UB8.
Role: Rework Technician
Location: Uxbridge (UB8)
Pay Rate:
£14- £15 per hour PAYE or Holiday paid £15.69- £16.81
Umbrella rates £18- £19 per hour
PURPOSE OF JOB
Modification, rework and upgrade of PCB assemblies to IPC 610 Class 3 standard.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years' experience in PCB production
Hand soldering IPC 610 Class 3 trained
Use of fine tools and microscopes
Computer literatePRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT components down to 0201 and 01005 dimensions.
Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT and thru-hole IC packages and connectors including DIL, uBGA, BGAs PGAs, QFPs
Build product according to customer specifications and requirements
Ensure all work is completed to specified levels of acceptable workmanship.
Follow company procedures and work instructions at all times.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to the Health and Safety requirements and regulations
Adhere to the Company IT and Data policy
Comply with the statutory requirements and regulations and Company requirements
Carry out any other reasonable request which is for the benefit of the business
Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained
