SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) - Suffolk - ASAP Start
Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Suffolk, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve their full potential within an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
The school is looking for a patient, caring and committed practitioner with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils who require additional support to access learning.
📌 CONTRACT DETAILS
Location - Suffolk
Position - SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Type of work - 1:1 support and small group interventions
Start date - ASAP
Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
Full time/part-time - Full time
Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting children with SEN in a UK school setting (placements accepted)
Experience working with pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, or additional learning needs desirable
Relevant TA training or qualifications desirable
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
