If yes, then Academics are working with a well led and supportive primary school in the Borough of Waltham Forest (Redbridge) who are looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join their fantastic primary school in October or November 2026! This is a full-time, long-term role that will involve working in the school for at least the full academic year (till July 2027).
As a primary teaching assistant, you will be responsible for working alongside the class teacher to support students both in and outside of their lessons, enabling children to meet their academic targets. You will have the opportunity to work with children across Reception to Year 6 on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
This role will also include working with students with ASD, ADHD and SEMH. The Headteacher is therefore keen to trial/ interview candidates with prior experience or a passionate graduate who is looking for a long-term career working with children.
TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE DETAILS:
Based in Redbridge, London
Monday - Friday, Term-Time only
Long-Term, Full-Time role - 8.30am - 3:30pm
ASAP Start in October or November 2026
Contract until July 2027 at least
