Description
Lead the negotiation, implementation and management of contracts and framework agreements to deliver commercial value and operational efficiencies.
Manage contract reviews and commercial negotiations throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring continued performance, compliance and value for money.
Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support business objectives and procurement outcomes.
Ensure procurement activities align with responsible procurement principles, sustainability objectives and corporate governance requirements.
Develop and implement procurement strategies, supporting tendering activities, evaluations, contract awards and contract management.
Act as a key commercial adviser on supplier relationship management, procurement strategy and dispute resolution.
Drive continuous improvement through the optimisation of procurement processes, systems and technology.
Produce accurate management information and reporting to support commercial decision-making.
Support the development and capability of colleagues across the wider procurement and commercial function.Profile
Significant experience operating within procurement, commercial or sustainability functions.
Proven track record of managing high-value, high-risk and complex contracts across works, services and supply categories.
Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience establishing complex contractual arrangements.
Experience reviewing and managing contract terms, conditions and commercial schedules.
Strong understanding of UK procurement legislation and its practical application.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, supported by experience using procurement and business systems.Job Offer
