Engage Education is currently working with a welcoming and supportive SEN school in North Manchester that is seeking an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join their team from October 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and wants to make a meaningful difference to their learning, development and wellbeing.
The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a range of individual needs.
*
Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
*
Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
*
Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff and the wider school team.
*
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching accordingly.
*
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and their families.
*
Contribute to the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
*
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*
Has experience working within a primary school setting.
*
Has a genuine interest in working with children with SEN.
*
Is patient, adaptable and nurturing in their approach.
*
Can differentiate effectively to meet individual learning needs.
*
Has strong communication and classroom management skills.
*
Is committed to helping every pupil achieve their potential.
Experience working in an SEN setting is desirable but not essential — we are also keen to hear from primary teachers who are looking to develop their experience within specialist education.
