The Role & About the Client
The Role & About the Client ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager on behalf of a well-established construction contractor delivering planned highways and civils works in Chicklade.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor working on a construction management site. The successful candidate will provide a site presence during planned night works, ensuring the works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Supervising highways and civils works on site.
Providing site management presence during planned night works.
Liaising with highways and utilities contractors.
Coordinating daily site activities and monitoring progress.
Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with RAMS and project requirements.
Monitoring quality of workmanship throughout the works.
Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Reporting any issues or delays to the wider project team.
Liaising with subcontractors and other site personnel.
Supporting the successful delivery of the works to programme. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working as a Site Manager.
Highways and/or civils experience.
Experience working on or around live highways is desirable.
SMSTS (essential).
First Aid (essential).
Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work planned night shifts.
