This is an excellent opportunity to join a major Welsh Water framework, coordinating engineering design across water industry projects from a St. Asaph office.
The business is particularly keen to speak with experienced Design Leads or Design Coordinators who have worked within a Design & Build environment in the water sector and are confident coordinating multidisciplinary engineering designs through project delivery.
The position offers flexible hybrid working, with approximately 2-4 days per week based in St. Asaph.
The Role
You'll be involved in:
Coordinating design activities across individual projects or a portfolio of projects
Managing the delivery and integration of multidisciplinary engineering designs
Working within a Design & Build water environment
Coordinating engineers and wider project effectively in line with project requirements
Ensuring designs progress effectively in line with project requirements
Supporting the resolution of design issues throughout project delivery
Assisting directly with engineering design activities where required
Working closely with project and delivery teams across the Welsh Water frameworkWhat They're Looking For
Previous experience in a Design Lead, Design Coordinator or similar engineering role
Strong experience within the water industry
Previous experience working in a Design & Build environment
Engineering background - specific discipline is not essential
Experience coordinating engineering designs across projects
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication and coordination skills
Confidence managing multiple design activities and priorities
Ability to attend the St. Asaph office approximately 2-4 days per weekExperience coordinating a portfolio or batch of water projects would be particularly beneficial.
