Job description
We are looking for Forklift Drivers to join a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK, based in Nelson (BB9)

12-HOUR CONTINENTAL SHIFT PATTERN: 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights
Days: 06:00 – 18:00
Nights: 18:00 – 06:00
12-hour shifts with a paid 1-hour break
£14.49ph | Overtime £21.74ph
Ongoing temporary role
Immediate starts available

You will be operating Double Handler FLTs, which are specialist forklifts fitted with four forks, allowing multiple pallets to be handled at once – all training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating Double Handler FLTs fitted with four forks to safely move and handle materials and products.
Loading, unloading and transporting palletised goods safely and efficiently.
Moving and positioning materials and products throughout the site.
Safely handling multiple pallets using the Double Handler FLT.
Carrying out shunting duties where required, in line with site procedures.
Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLTs where trained and authorised.
Completing daily FLT checks and reporting any faults or safety concerns.
Following all Health & Safety and site procedures at all times.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Working effectively as part of the warehouse team while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
What we're looking for:
Minimum Counterbalance FLT licence
At least 6 months' practical FLT experience
Previous Reach Truck experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Shunt licence/experience would be highly desirable
Confident and competent operating FLT equipmentImportant Information:

Due to the location of the site (BB9) and shift start/finish times, you must have your own transport. There is no suitable public transport available for these shifts.
There is also a strict no-smoking policy on site, and employees are required to remain on site throughout their shift.
