We have a contract opportunity for an experience Project Manager to join a well established organisation within the nuclear sector.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of complex mechanical scopes within the B1 Area, from construction readiness through to installation, testing and final handover.
You’ll provide leadership across piping, valves, mechanical supports and associated mechanical works, coordinating multiple teams and working closely with Construction, Quality, Planning, Commercial, Engineering and Procurement to keep delivery aligned with the construction programme.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the safe and effective delivery of mechanical works from construction readiness through to handover
Coordinate site priorities, installation sequencing and delivery activities
Manage multiple contractors and site delivery teams
Monitor engineering, material and construction readiness to ensure works can progress as planned
Identify, manage and resolve construction constraints and potential blockers
Coordinate interfaces between different disciplines, work areas and project teams
Drive mechanical works through installation, testing and system completion
Monitor programme performance, productivity, risk and change
Use project data to identify emerging issues and ensure resources are focused on priority activities
Work closely with Engineering and Procurement teams to ensure technical and material requirements support the construction programme
Act as a key interface between the Client, site delivery teams and supply chain
Maintain clear accountability, communication and timely decision-making across the project
