Document Controller – Holiday Cover

Location: Northampton
Rate: £18 per hour
Duration: 2 weeks
Contract: Temporary / Freelance
Start: 22nd September

We are currently looking for an experienced Document Controller to provide one week of holiday cover on an industrial construction site in Northampton.

This is a short-term opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a construction or industrial environment, supporting the project team with the management and control of project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain project documentation and filing systems.

Ensure documents are correctly uploaded, issued and distributed.

*

Maintain document registers and revision control.

*

Process drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation.

*

Ensure the project team has access to the latest approved information.

*

Assist with document retrieval and general administrative duties.

*

Liaise with site and office-based teams to ensure information is controlled effectively.

*

Maintain accurate records in line with project procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

*

Previous experience as a Document Controller, preferably within construction or an industrial environment.

*

Good knowledge of document management and revision control.

*

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

*

Excellent attention to detail.

*

Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.

*

The ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

*

Previous site-based experience would be advantageous
