Prime Appointments are recruiting on behalf of a well-established market-leading manufacturer based in Witham, Essex. We are looking for an experienced Factory Operative to join their production team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous factory or production experience who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive manufacturing environment. The company offers ongoing training, career progression opportunities, and the chance to secure a permanent position.
Factory Operative Duties
As a Factory Operative, your responsibilities will include:
Loading and unloading production machinery
Operating machinery safely and efficiently
Carrying out quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards
Measuring and assembling products to specification
Using a variety of hand tools during the production process
Supporting general production and housekeeping duties as required
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Must Driver and have own Transport
Heavy lifting
Previous experience working within a factory or production environment
An understanding of quality control processes
The ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
Good written and verbal communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Pay, Hours & Benefits
£12.71 per hour
Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 16:30pm
