Skilled Mechanic – Derby

Job Type: Full Time | Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience

The Recruitment Group in Loughborough are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and skilled Mechanic to join their team in Derby.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.

The Role

As a Skilled Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of mechanical repairs, servicing and diagnostics, ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A minimum of 3 years mechanical experience
Proven experience working with timing belts
Experience with wet belts
Strong vehicle diagnostic experience
Excellent mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A reliable and professional approach to work
