The Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons
Work with individuals and small groups to support learning
Provide additional support to pupils who may require extra help
Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils with their social, emotional and academic development
Assist with classroom preparation and general learning activities
Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and parents/carers where appropriate
About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
A genuine passion for working with children
Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
A professional and reliable approach
A willingness to learn and develop
Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification are desirable but not essential, depending on the role.
